I've been a writer since as long as I can remember.

Journals, self-made books, and letters were my earliest efforts. 

​

I majored in biology during my undergraduate studies, but I adored the required creative writing courses at my liberal arts school. It was not the first time I ignored my intuition. Biology was not my favorite, but I received a four-year degree in 3.5 years and then wondered what next?

Flash forward five years, when I returned to school as a master's student. I majored in journalism and technical writing and finally felt like I'd found my way home.
